The Five Behaviors® Team Development Facilitation Kit

The kit is delivered in a box with a User’s Guide, Take-Away cards and a USB drive filled with facilitation and support materials, including handouts, slides, images, templates, posters and videos. 

The Five Behavior Team Development profiles are purchased separately. Each profile is 35 EPIC credits per person. EPIC is an administrator tool for deliverying and managing Everything DiSC and The Five Behaviors profiles.

Modular format

You receive support materials for facilitating seven sessions lasting between 1 to 3.5 hours each. Each module builds on the previous one, helping participants see how each behavior serves as a foundation for the next.

Sample scripts are provided to give you confidence in presenting this model and facilitating team activities. The team exercises, videos, and handouts for each module mean you don’t have to create everything on your own. But if you do want to add something, there are templates that will help you make it all look seamlessly integrated.

  • Mastering Conflict - Helping participants understand the benefits of healthy conflict

Among the videos are seven include seven featuring Patrick Lencioni, an engaging speaker and author of The Five Dysfunctions of a Team. He is speaking in front of a live audience, so the video doesn't feel like a lecture. He introduces each step of his model for teams. Ten more videos cover a right and a wrong way of taking an action or behaving in a team. These will easily generate discussions.

Take-away cards

The material presented can be challenging, and these cards will help keep it in the mind of the team members. They’ll help keep the discussions and learning alive.

The facilitation kit includes 20 of each of the five cards from the model (100 total cards.) Cards can be purchased separately.

Integration with DiSC

DiSC® styles are used as a point of reference in each of the five behavior modules, allowing participants to see how their own and their teammates’ styles affect their work as a team. You’ll be able to print and post copies of the Everything DiSC Team Map (page 10 of the profile) and the Conflict Team Map (page 16 of the profile).

Having a solid understanding of the DiSC model and how it is commonly used is beneficial, but if you don't know much about DiSC you’ll learn the basics from the material provided.


Included with the kit is access to a website with help on how to customize your facilitation materials, how to use the administration tool, and how to schedule three days of facilitation. You’ll also get a handout you can use with the team leader to help you introduce the Five Behaviors program and determine if the timing is right for it. The kit gives you everything you need from before the program begins and through each module. It even includes materials to use after your involvement as facilitator.
